[...] 6. Prayer is still the answer. God’s answer to rising up of wickedness across the earth is the praying Church. No one or nothing can release light and truth into the human spirit or a nation except for the praying Church. Our words can change things for the sake of righteousnesss. As those who stand for life, our cries are still to be, “Jesus, I plead your Blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America.” As Christians living in America, we are to pray for President Obama and his wife, Michelle (see my wife’s dream.) [...]

I came across your site by "accident" tonight. I'm a new section leader in the afternoon's at GPR and I've got to say that I'd love to meet you Ian. This post causes something to burn within me as I think of the thousands of hurting people that currently need God's saving and healing touch. I know that God wants to heal and deliver them all. That is why He came and died. So the question I must continually ask myself is how long will I be satisfied with so little and what am I willing to do about it in my own life? I mean let's get real with ourselves... if God is willing, then who's holding back the power?

Thanks to everyone who commented. I'm glad my passion came through because it's hard to express what is on your heart sometimes. It has definitely given me vision for the Prayer Room to be a place of deliverance and healing.

Oh I stumbled on here and just read this post. It made my eyes well up. Let the groan increase, let us feel the pain of the barrneness of our prayer room that has a name. Thanks for the reminder of the reason we do this, it will not always be like this. We have a hope, we have promises. I know the the rains will come. Let it rain!!!
